3,000-pound marijuana bust in Sierra Vista

SIERRA VISTA — Agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement seized more than 3,000 pounds of marijuana today at a home in Sierra Vista.

Details from the event, which occurred approximately 11:30 a.m., are still emerging. However, according to the police, three to four people have been arrested since ICE agents moved on a house on Ironmaster Street.

The incident began with an attempted traffic stop this morning shortly before 8 a.m., said Sgt. Lawrence Boutte of the Sierra Vista Police Department.
