SIERRA VISTA — About two dozen supporters of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords stood along Fry Boulevard Friday morning in a public display of gratitude for her support of the recently passed health care legislation in the House.
“She worked really hard, and a lot of her constituents aren’t really hot on this, so she showed some political courage” in voting for the bill, said Ed Waters of Sierra Vista.
