Buffalo Soldier Trail blaze blamed on mowing
SIERRA VISTA — Buffalo Soldier Trail was closed for about 30 minutes Tuesday afternoon after a brush fire caused visibility problems.
About 1:30 p.m., crews from multiple fire agencies began responding to a brush fire that started on the median of Buffalo Soldier Trail near Avenida Cochise.
According to Fry Fire District Chief Bill Miller and Fort Huachuca Public Affairs Coordinator Tanja Linton, the fire was sparked by city of Sierra Vista lawn tractors cutting grass in the area.

Looks like the area started burning down by the culvert. That is a known
illegal alien trail to where a convicted illegal alien trafficker lives in
the housing area across the road. Just for fun, check out the area on
Cherokee near the intersection of Cherokee and Buffalo Soldier Trail. The
illegals have tied the post boundry fence up so they can cross easier. For an
education, go to “borderinvasionpics.com”…then call your congressman.
How does a mower, made for cutting grass, start a fire? Was it really that,
or a cigarette from a crew member or passer-by that started it?
