Thousands of pounds of marijuana seized; sex offenders, immigrants from China are busted in desert

Send to friendDOUGLAS — Federal authorities say they have seized nearly 700 pounds of marijuana at the Douglas Port of Entry.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers were screening travelers and vehicles Sunday night when they came in contact with a 20-year-old Douglas man driving a truck.
The vehicle was inspected and authorities discovered that the bed of the F-150 had been completely altered to accommodate the concealment of nearly 700 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $1.1 million, authorities said.

Can somebody please explain me what is the connection between marijuana and
sex offenders? Marijuana is a plant that can be medically and spiritually
used… Please people read something about what you call “drugs” beside what
Media is offering you. Watch out for manipulation!! …
Well, maybe they shouldn’t be shot, but they should never be in a place where
they can do it again. Ship them on the raft with the Chinese.
Ship these Chinese clowns back to China on a raft with a 25 Horse power motor
and 5 gallons of gas. Ship these illegal Mexicans back on cattle trucks after
they have spent 1 year in Arapaio’s jail. Sex offenders should be shot.
Often seen is the soft-peddling of the Mexican illegal’s plight in this
regard. But I am very alarmed to see Chinese sneaking across our borders.
This is a country that is clearly an adversary of the USA with a military and
espionage mission continually being scaled up against us. There are no poor
Chinese sneaking in, after all. These people did not come from some poor town
in Mexico. This is shocking. We are in danger as a nation because of the lax
control of our borders and from allowing this situation to continue while
liberal rights groups and Hispanics already in this country, mostly who came
illegally, thwart enforcement of our laws already on the books.
These articles keep pointing to non-control of the US border. The border
patrol is not to blame, it is the congress who is to blame. They go nuts
spending our money but how little they spend on the security of our nation.
It’s almost (or maybe it is) like the congress wants to intentionally keep
the border unsecured. Why? Maybe congress and our president want open borders
or just erase the borders. There is a reason why they are not taking border
security serious. Do you know why?
It sure seems that a great percentage of illegals from Mexico are sex
offenders.
