HEREFORD — American Border Patrol, a nonprofit organization, launched a plan Thursday to demonstrate how easy it would be for federal officials to count illegal immigrants entering the United States.

The group, with help from designated contractors, is setting up a system of cameras and sensors along a 30-mile segment of the U.S.-Mexico border in Cochise County, said president Glenn Spencer.

Title: Solid idea

I think this is definitely a step in the right direction as it will count the
illegals and cause the government to have to step in as there will be higher
numbers than anticipated. I just hope the cameras are properly placed and
hidden, though.

Although I am usually not in favor of private citizens taking government
matters into their own hands, it will be interesting to see how this compares
with the federal Government numbers. Perhaps it can be usefull.
