FORT HUACHUCA — Providing more than $15,000 in a three-month period indicates the need enlisted soldiers and retirees have, said a post Army Community Services spokeswoman.
Any amount of money to help the effort is appreciated. With $500 provided by Boots for Our Troops, another 20 soldiers will be helped through $25 food coupons, Stacy Jones said.
She accepted a check from Mike Maloon, the Cochise County coordinator of the boots organization, bringing the total amount from Boots for Our Troops to the post ACS to $1,500 this year.
