SIERRA VISTA — Comfort Keepers are celebrating their 10th anniversary and are inviting the community to join in the celebration.

The business specializes in care for the elderly who have come to a point in their lives where they need the extra help.

Working with family members, Comfort Keepers works to provide the best care possible for each person’s individual needs. Meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, companionship, housekeeping and dementia care are just a few of the services offered by Comfort Keepers.

Care for clients is offered from two hours up to 24 hours. There is very little that the company will not do for their clients.

Trying to find help for a spouse or parents can be a difficult and uncomfortable task but Comfort keepers makes it easy.

Many people don’t know where to begin and we are here to help ease them into a system that will work,” said Sandra Chancellor general manager for Comfort Keepers.

Specially selected staff are hired to provide care for all clients.

I’m not going to send any care giver into someone’s home that I would not send into my own,” said Chancellor.

Each person hired by Comfort Keepers is selected by any certifications the individual may have as well as their character.

We are continuously looking for good people with good character and experience,” said Chancellor.

The services offered by the company are all non-medical.

We provide services to help people stay home,” said Chancellor.

Online billing is used for families members who have parents that live in Sierra Vista, but themselves live too far away to make the trip. Comfort Keepers makes it easy for all people to benefit from their services.

In 2007, Comfort Keepers received the Franchisee award for having the most satisfied employees out of many other
 companies.

Comfort Keepers are always looking for qualified people to join their family and to help the elderly in the community.

The business offers help to younger people, also. A few clients are younger and have suffered from life altering accidents or have some form of head injury.

The same care is provided for these clients that is offered for the elderly. Comfort Keepers takes care of their physical needs and provides non medical help.

Celebrating 10 years is a big accomplishment and everyone at Comfort Keepers would like to see the members of the community at the Open House.

If you are interested in getting care for a loved one, or are interested in this field of work, head out to Comfort Keepers on Oct. 19.

The open house will offer free food and free drawings for all participants and provide information for the community.

The open house is so the public knows someone is here to help,” said Chancellor.
