SIERRA VISTA — Cochise College journalism students have a new outlet for the articles they write. For the first time in six years Cochise College will be publishing a student newspaper, the Kaleidoscope.
Last spring the college experienced a rise in interest in the journalism program. Liz Manring, former sports reporter for the Sierra Vista Herald, along with advisor Dori Veach, and Fine Arts Department Head Tanya Biami spearheaded this growing interest with an online newspaper.
Now that the fall semester has arrived the next step has begun.

Get your facts straight - the Kaleidoscope was updated as articles were submitted and ran all summer long by summer volunteers. Now there will definitely times when articles will be outdated when the students read them. Granted the Kaleidoscope was hard to find on the college website, but once found, it provided up-to-date information for the students. Not sure if I, as a student, will read the new Kaleidoscope. Hope it "wows" me or it has lost a reader.
