Sgt. 1st Class Frank J. Wood Jr. entered the service on Sept. 7, 1988. He served overseas in Germany, the Republic of Korea, comabt tours in Southwest Asia, and numerous stateside assignments.

SFC Wood retires after more than 21 years of active federal service. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, 1st OLC, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, 4th OLC, and the Army Achievement Medal, 4th OLC.
