The greatest celebration of the Christian year is Easter, not Christmas as many think. It is so because Easter is the climax of Christ’s mission on earth, the conquest of death, the triumph over sin, the open door to new life that’s endless. Christmas celebrates the incarnation; Easter rejoices in the victory that Divine sacrificial effort afforded all believers.
