FORT HUACHUCA — A definition of physical fitness is being in shape or in condition.

But for GIs, there is more to being fit than just doing daily sit-ups and push-ups and running two miles — part of what any who have served in America’s armed forces love to hate — PT.

Today’s soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines want more than PT or being involved in intramural sports, said Les Woods, the chief of fitness, sports and aquatics on the post.
