Myer Elementary School had its Turkey Trot on Nov. 24, and here are the pictures of the top three third-grade winners for boys and the top three winners for girls.

Mrs. Evans’s first-grade class have been busy bees. They have been diligently improving their reading through the Accelerated Reader program as well as practice reading silently, reading with a buddy, and participating in reading groups.
They enjoyed a visit from Club RIF from Buena High School in Sierra Vista. Students were able to play games, share in reading with a club member and receive a free book. After the visit, students practiced letter writing by writing “thank you” letters to club members.
