To the Editor:

Alison McLeod, Alice Hamers and Mary Elinor Adams participated recently in the Progressive Democrats of America national conference in Cleveland, Ohio. The activists listened to well-known speakers including Dennis Kucinich, Jim Hightower and Daniel Ellsburg. They also heard paid and unpaid staff members report on lobbying and organizing. The Bisbee-area delegates discussed public policy issues in regional and topical groups.

As much as I would love to see and end to 2 wars nd to see our troops come
home safe. I want that done when the job is complete. Even more so, I do not
my tax dollars going to healthcare.. I want that gone. I want a secure
Southern Border and to end the “occupation” of my home and land that I love.
I want to stop sending Billions of dollars to other countries just because
they ask for help and don’t want to help themselves. I want to “Invest” the
“American Tax Dollar” back into the “American Taxpayer”. Quite frankly I do
not see Democrats doing that at all be it “Liberal” or “Progessive”.

“Health care, not warfare. End the occupations. Immigration justice.” The
goals of progressives, as partially listed at the end of this article, are
words that progressives have other meanings for than the normal reader
understands. To get the real picture of the “progressive” mindset, read
Robert Cramer’s “Stand Up Straight…: How Progressives Can Win.” Robert is a
convicted felon and husband of Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, a left-leaning
liberal. Both were in attendance at the White House dinner the night it was
crashed by uninvited guests (how did a convicted felon get to attend the
White House dinner without crashing it?). Robert wrote this book while in
prison and is highly praised by David Axelrod and John Podesta. The readers
know these folks as Obama cronies, and the speakers at the Cleveland
conference, as listed by the writer of this article, are known as well. To
know who the progressives are, one needs to look no further than the
socialist democrats in power now.

So Mary whats the difference between today’s Progressive Democrat and
yesterday’s Liberal Democrat. The only difference I can see is the larger
size of most of the participants tie-dyed shirts. The same ole Utopian dreams
that come at the cost of other people’s money. Keep on toke’n down there in
 Bisbee….
