BISBEE — Do you have what it takes to clamber up and down 1,000 stairs around the hills of Bisbee’s Historic District?
The Great Stair Climb will test the mettle of more than 1,000 people who believe they can make the course as the 19th annual event gets under way on Oct. 17.
But don’t think you have to be in great shape to handle the course. It’s pleasurable to slowly walk the stairs and enjoy the scenery and eclectic character of the mining town that has become an artists’ haven.
