Maybe Santorum isn't "crazy."




The blogosphere and the mainstream media exploded Tuesday.

There were serious concerns that Drudge might melt from the Internet traffic. 

What was all the fuss? Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, the former Pennsylvania Senator, stood in front of a church audience four years ago and told parishoners that Satan is attacking America.

On the comical side… where is Dana Carvey when you need him? We need a serious dose of Saturday Night Live Church Lady, and we need it quick.

This isn’t home base for the Rick Santorum defense league.

Funny thing, that. We don’t have to imagine; the cameras and members of the real press were on hand when he did so a few weeks ago. If someone wanted to find out, it would be a relatively simple task. Of course, it would require someone who knows his way around a newspaper article, so I may be barking up the wrong tree here.

Perhaps we could ask one of the youngsters in the newsroom how to use The Google. Which, in response to the magic incantation “obama apollo theater transcript”, instantly returned a link to a transcript of what he said.
