Five reasons Cienega beat Buena




  VAIL — As Ben Sims took a quick slant and broke away for an 80-yard score to put Buena on top of Cienega 13-0 late in the first quarter, it was apparent Buena was the more athletic and explosive team.

Yet after that play, something happened that gradually, then rapidly, swung the game Cienega’s way, as last year’s Division II state runners-up ran off the next 30 points on their way to a 47-25 win.
