ToltecaTlacuilo and  La Cocina Resturant at Old Town Artisans presents Event Name: Tonalpohualli (The Aztec Calendar). Traditional dances performed by the Nauhi Ollin Aztec Dancers.         Date: Saturday March 9th & and Sunday March 10th, 2013         Times: Saturday: 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM and Sunday: 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM             Location: La Cocina Restuarant courtyard stage at the Old Town Artisans complex 201 N. Court Ave. Cost: Admission Free             Event Description: TheSalinas family (Nahui Ollin Aztec Dancers) perform ceremonial dances. These performances are in honor of Tonalpohualli (The Aztec Calendar) by the traditional indigenous people whom would like to present it now for the public to get some understanding and become aware of some of the history of Aztec calendar as it relates to the Aztec people’s daily lives from yesterday to the present and future. The Aztec Calendar is similar to that of the Maya.
