Club offers chance at receiving a scholarship

FORT HUACHUCA — The Fort Huachuca Community Spouses’ Club is offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors and adults in continuing education.

The scholarships are open to children and spouses of U.S. military members, Department of Defense civilians, National Guard Members and Reservists assigned to Fort Huachuca, or retired or deceased military living in the local area. The children must be graduating high school seniors or continuing students in higher education under the age of 23.

Forms for high school seniors are available through high school counselors. Those who are eligible may pick up an application form at the Sierra Vista Public Library, at the Fort Huachuca Education Center, from the financial aid office at the University of Arizona South, or from the of Cochise College Foundation. Application submissions must be postmarked by March 14 and mailed to: FHCSC, P.O. Box 12202, Fort Huachuca AZ 85670.
