The following are highlights from the calls for service or citizen contracts received or initiated by the Sierra Vista Police Department.
Nov. 28
• 8:59 a.m. — A single-vehicle vs. pedestrian accident was reported at Coronado Drive and Baywood Lane. A pedestrian was struck while attempting to go around a vehicle that was stopped in the curb lane. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
• 9:45 a.m. — A woman, 28, was arrested for shoplifting after police were called to Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. She had switched the tags between two items. She was cited and released.

• 9:50 a.m. — A resident in the 1000 block of Sahuaro Drive reported theft. Someone stole an employment identification, driver’s license, cash and checks from the victim.
• 10:55 a.m. — A soldier on Fort Huachuca reported theft. An unknown person had used the soldier’s Visa card. It had been used at two locations in city limits.
• 1:54 p.m. — A woman, 19, was arrested and a juvenile was referred for shoplifting after police were called to Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. The woman stole $20 in items, the juvenile stole $5 in items. Both were cited and released.
• 2:30 p.m. — A theft was reported at Apache Middle School, 3305 E. Fry Blvd. A blue bicycle was taken from the bike rack after the lock was cut.
• 3:32 p.m. — A man, 21, was arrested for domestic violence/criminal damage after police were called to the 500 block of South Coronado Drive. He was booked into the county jail.
• 4:20 p.m. — A woman, 45, and a man, 48, were arrested for domestic violence/assault after police were called to Theatre Drive and First Street. Both were taken to the county jail.
• 7:10 p.m. — A theft was reported from St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 800 Taylor Drive. Someone took a 4-foot wrought iron candlestick from the premises.
• 7:46 p.m. — A man, 42, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Fry Boulevard and Avenida Escuela. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was booked into the county jail.
• 8:50 p.m. — An arson was reported in the 400 block of South Garden Avenue. A juvenile male set the vehicle on fire.
• 10:49 p.m. — A report of shots fired in the area of the 400 block of South Garden Avenue. The source was not found.
• 11:42 p.m. — A resident in the 600 block of Charles Drive reported theft. A bicycle was taken at approximately 10 p.m.
Nov. 29
• 12:16 a.m. — A man, 23, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disorderly conduct after police contact in the 100 block of Witt Drive. He was booked into the county jail.
• 1:50 a.m. — A man, 27, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 2600 block of East Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was cited and released.
• 2:10 a.m. — A hit-and-run wreck was reported in the 40 block of Avenida Escuela. The vehicle was struck by a lifted vehicle causing damage to the front end of same.
• 8:32 a.m. — A theft was reported in the 1300 block of Andrea Drive. A plastic flowerpot was taken and two solar lights were broken. The contents of the pot were left in the roadway a short distance from the residence.
• 10:11 a.m. — A man, 37, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at North Avenue and Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was cited and released.
• 11:23 a.m. — A resident in the 40 block of West Berridge Drive reported criminal damage. The driver’s side door of the resident’s vehicle was damaged.
• 12:14 p.m. — Two juveniles were referred for shoplifting after police were called to Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. Both were cited and released to their parents.
• 12:22 p.m. — A resident in the 100 block of North Toscanini Avenue reported a burglary. The victim found their purses in a local thrift store. The purses had been stolen from their residence. The case is still under investigation.
• 4:30 p.m. — A woman, 28, and a man, 27, were arrested for shoplifting after police were called to Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. The woman took $73 of makeup and the man took $17 in goods. She was cited and released and he was booked into the county jail.
• 4 p.m. — Three men, ages 22, 26 and 27, were arrested after a traffic stop in the area of North Avenue and Fry Boulevard. An officer observed a drug-buy in progress when he effected the traffic stop. The 26-year-old was tased after he resisted arrest. The drug dog was called to the scene to assist. As a result of the investigation, drugs and a stolen handgun were found. The 26-year-old was charged with criminal littering, resisting arrest, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The 27-year-old, was charge with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony, misconduct with a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription drugs, possession of stolen property and prohibited possessor. The 22-year-old was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. All were booked into the county jail.
• 5:09 p.m. — A woman, 30, was arrested for fraud and shoplifting after police were called to Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. She was booked into the county jail.
• 6:09 p.m. — A man, 24, was arrested for shoplifting after an employee at Sears, 2250 El Mercado Loop, contacted police.
• 7:03 p.m. — A juvenile was referred for shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. The juvenile was released to a parent.
• 8:09 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at North Avenue and Fry Boulevard. One of the drivers was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
• 11:05 p.m. — A juvenile was referred for domestic violence/assault after police were called to the 200 block of South Garden Avenue. The juvenile, who struck an adult in the face, was released to their parent.
SUNDAY
• 12:51 a.m. — A man, 21, was arrested for assault after police were called to Rendezvous, 40 Avenida Escuela. He was cited and released.
• 5:59 a.m. — A single-vehicle, injury wreck was reported at Fry Boulevard and Moorman Avenue. The vehicle eventually continued southbound onto Coronado Drive. The driver possibly suffered a medical emergency and had the collision. The vehicle was towed from the scene on South Coronado Drive. The driver was taken to the Sierra Vista Regional Health Center for treatment. The driver’s condition is not known.
• 12:52 p.m. — A man, 47, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 900 block of East Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The man was cited and released.
• 1:05 p.m. — An aggravated assault was reported in the 800 block of South Carmichael Avenue. The victim refused treatment. He suffered from a bump on the nose and was bleeding from the right index finger knuckle.
• 1:07 p.m. — A resident reported criminal damage in the 2800 block of Greenbrier Road. Three rocks were thrown at the rear window of a vehicle, shattering it. The incident occurred between 10 p.m. Nov. 29 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 30.
• 2:23 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Golden Eagle Drive and Flat Rock Court. One of the drivers was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
• 5:29 p.m. — An assault was reported at the rear of Food City, 85 S. Highway 92. Neither of the alleged parties involved had any signs of trauma and neither party provided a corroborated story.
• 7:33 p.m. — A man, 24, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was cited and released.
Monday
• 12:19 a.m. — An arson was reported at Karima’s Haircutters, 200 E. Fry Blvd., Suite 1. The case is being investigated.
• 3:05 a.m. — A man, 24, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of North Seventh Street. He was cited and released.
• 8:12 a.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Golden Eagle Drive and Cherokee Avenue. A driver was cited for failure to drive to the right. One of the vehicles was towed from the scene.
• 9:08 a.m. — An employee at Las Palomas Apartments, 499 S. Carmichael Ave., reported theft. An unknown person took a commercial vacuum cleaner from a vacant apartment.
• 9:44 a.m. — A resident in the 5300 block of Highland Shadows Drive reported fraud. An unknown person is using their credit card at a local liquor store, and now it is also being used in Great Britain to purchase telephone equipment.
• Noon— A man, 46, was arrested for interfering with judicial proceedings stemming from an incident on Nov. 28. He was cited and released.
• 1:08 p.m. — A hit-and-run wreck was reported at Grand Teton Court and Big Bend Street. Someone struck a water hydrant over the weekend.
• 1:36 p.m. — An employee at the Shiloh Christian Academy, 200 North Ave., reported theft. A television was taken from a classroom.
• 2:06 p.m. — A resident reported criminal damage at Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. Someone scratched the passenger side door of a parked vehicle.
• 2:18 p.m. — A juvenile was referred for possession of marijuana after police contact in the 100 block of North Toscanini Avenue. The juvenile was released to their parent.
• 2:27 p.m. — An employee at Safeway, 2190 E. Fry Blvd., reported theft. The employee had $120.00 taken from his or her locker while they were working on Nov. 22.
• 4:39 p.m. — A resident in the 400 block of South Garden Avenue reported theft. A known person took several computers from the premises while the victim was sleeping.
• 5:26 p.m. — A resident in the 3300 block of Blackhawk Drive reported a burglary. Sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. someone entered the premises and took a MacBook, Compaq Presario, two Nintendo DS and a black iPod. The residence was not secured, and the alarm was not set.
• 6:27 p.m. — A woman, 27, was arrested for shoplifting after police were called to Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. She was cited and released.
• 11:05 p.m. — A man, 36, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 1700 block of East Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed. He was cited and released.
Tuesday
• 12:06 a.m. — A woman, 29, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 3900 block of East Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed from the scene. She was cited and released.
• 1:21 a.m. — A man, 20, was arrested for domestic violence/assault after police were called to the 500 block of South Carmichael Avenue. He was booked into the county jail.
• 2:46 a.m. — A woman, 21, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 3200 block of East Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed. She was cited and released.
• 9:01 a.m. — A man, 19, was arrested in the 2700 block of Ridge Crest Street for attempted impersonating a peace officer, aggressive driving, and false reporting to law enforcement stemming from an incident on Sept. 29. He was cited and released.
• 12:46 p.m. — A juvenile was referred for assault stemming from an incident on Nov. 17. The juvenile was released.
• 1:29 p.m. — A four-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Tree Top Avenue and Charleston Road. One of the vehicles was towed from the scene.
• 2:17 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Charleston Road and Giulio Cesare Avenue. One vehicle rear-ended the other.
• 2:21 p.m. — A three-vehicle, non-injury, chain-reaction wreck was reported at Charleston Road and Giulio Cesare Avenue. Two vehicles were towed.
• 4:14 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported in the 200 block of East Fry Boulevard.
• 4:29 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 2100 block of Lexington Drive. Someone took two greeting cards from the outgoing mail. The cards contained cash.
• 5:15 p.m. — A man, 48, was arrested for an open container violation after police were called to Fry’s Food Store, 4351 E. Highway 90. The man placed beer into a Circle K coffee cup. He was cited and released.
• 11:01 p.m. — A juvenile was referred for domestic violence after police were called to the 700 block of Tacoma Street.
• 11:09 p.m. — Disorderly conduct was reported at Target, 4151 E. Highway 90. A known person became disorderly when he was not allowed to return an item that was shoplifted.
• 11:54 p.m. — A man, 23, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, open container of alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Highway 92 and Calle Mercancia. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was cited and released.
Wednesday
• 12:42 a.m. — A man, 30, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Fry Boulevard and Lenzner Avenue. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The man was cited and released.
• 10:19 a.m. — A resident in the 4000 block of Calle Albuquerque reported unlawful use of means of transportation. The daughter of the victim had fallen into default on a loan for a vehicle and failed to pay insurance. She refused to open the garage door to confirm the location of the vehicle. The vehicle is now owned by the victim, who would like to retrieve it.
• 11:01 a.m. — A man, 18, was arrested for burglary, theft and trafficking stolen property stemming from a report made on Nov. 8 in the 4200 block of Calle Ladero. He also was arrested on a charge of possession of narcotics after the search incident to arrest. He was booked into the county jail.
• 1:42 p.m. — A juvenile was referred for possession of tobacco and another was referred for possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to the Berean Academy, 4699 E. Highway 90. Both were referred and released.
• 3:10 p.m. — Domestic violence was reported in the 1500 block of East Busby Drive. A man had punched his girlfriend in the face and fled prior to officer’s arrival. The case is still under investigation.
• 3:39 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Highway 90 and Seventh Street. The drivers exchanged information.
• 3:55 p.m. — A man, 26, was arrested for sexual exploitation of a minor after officers served a search warrant in the 400 block of South Lenzner Avenue. The investigation is ongoing. He was booked into the Cochise County Jail and is being held on a $150,000 bond.
• 4:40 p.m. — A resident reported theft of a bicycle from the rack at Bella Vista Elementary, 801 N. Lenzner Ave. A green and black bicycle was taken between 6:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
• 6:12 p.m. — A report of shots fired in the area of the 3200 block of Snead Drive. The source was not found.
• 6:51 p.m. — A three-vehicle injury wreck was reported at Coronado Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. The collision involved two cars and a motorcycle. The motorcycle operator was transported to the hospital and two other were treated at the scene. The extent of injuries to the motorcyclist is not known.
• 8:14 p.m. — A resident in the 1000 block of Escondido Court reported they found marijuana in their daughter’s backpack. The juvenile was referred and released for possession of marijuana.
• 8:54 p.m. — A man, 25, was arrested for assault for shoving the victim after police were called to the 5000 block of Via de Lomas. He was cited and released.
• 11:39 p.m. — A man, 50, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and misconduct with a weapon after a traffic stop at Moson Road and Highway 90. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The man was cited and released.
Thursday
• 12:01 a.m. — A man, 26, was arrested for domestic violence/assault after police were called to the 500 block of South Coronado Drive. He was booked into the county jail.
• 1:29 a.m. — A woman, 23, was arrested for aggravated driving Under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana after police were called to Paul’s Pub, 1805 Paseo San Luis. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for 30 days. She was booked into the county jail.
• 8:15 a.m. — A juvenile from Buena High School, 5225 E. Buena School Blvd., was referred for truancy after several unexcused absences. The juvenile was referred and released.
• 11:22 a.m. — A theft was reported in the 100 block of East Golf Links. The victim reported that two types of medications were taken from her residence after two female magazine salespersons were in her home.
• 1:32 p.m. — A burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Ocotillo Drive. Entry was gained by kicking in a door of the residence. Rolled coins were taken from the home.
• 2:25 p.m. — A theft was reported from the Motel 6, 1551 E. Fry Blvd. The vehicle was parked on the premises overnight and a DeWalt drill, a welder, cable jacks, a band saw and a chop saw was taken from the bed of the truck between 11 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
• 3:19 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Carmelita Drive and Seventh Street. The collision was caused when the driver of the rear vehicle was unable to stop.
• 3:32 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Highway 90 and Coronado Drive. The wreck was caused by an unsafe lane change.
• 3:39 p.m. — A report of child abuse at Walgreens, 1950 E. Fry Blvd. The case is still under investigation at this time, and no further information can be provided until it is complete.
• 4:28 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Fry Boulevard and Avenida Escuela. One of the drivers was cited for following too closely.
• 4:53 p.m. — Shoplifting was reported from Sears, 2250 El Mercado Loop. A tool set was taken from the premises.
• 5:43 p.m. — A resident in the 5200 block of East Paseo Cielo reported criminal damage. Someone keyed the resident’s vehicle while it was parked outside the residence.
• 5:48 p.m. — A hit-and-run wreck was reported at Wal-Mart, 657 N. Highway 90. The suspect vehicle is unknown at this time.
• 6:57 p.m. — A woman, 35, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 5200 block of East Charleston Road. She was cited and released.
• 7:32 p.m. — A violation of a court order was reported in the 400 block of South 3rd Street. A photograph was sent to the victim, in violation of an existing court order.
• 8:19 p.m. — A man, 18, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of drugs after a traffic stop at Busby Drive and Highway 92. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
• 9:23 p.m. — A report of shots fired in the area of the 4400 block of Pine Place. The source was not found.
• 10:45 p.m. — A report of shots fired in the area of the 1200 block of Carmelita Drive. A single discharge of a weapon was confirmed by finding a discharged casing.
• 11:24 p.m. — A man, 51, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Calle Sabo. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was cited and released.
Friday
• 2:10 a.m. — A man, 47, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 1900 block of East Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for 30 days.
• 2:54 a.m. — A man, 23, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 1900 block of East Fry Boulevard. The vehicle was towed from the scene. He was released to the Military Police.
