He was preceded in death by his wife, F. Phyllis Woods; two granddaughters, Tonja Thompson and Tammy Woods; and two brothers, Clinton and Charles. Survivors include his children, Robert M. Jr., husband of Pauline Woods of Huachuca City, and Terrill W., husband of Cathy Woods, of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Nora Splain of Columbia, Pa.; and brother, Wayne of Metter, Ga.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1000 Taylor Drive, in Sierra Vista.
