The Sierra Vista American Youth Football League Pee-Wee Colts were one of two teams in their league to have an undefeated season this year. The team’s head coach was Frank Valdez and assistant coaches were Lawrence Boutte, Luke Blake, Doug Garrett and Robert Ryan.
The Colts played against Nogales, Bisbee, Douglas and several other Sierra Vista teams, including the Raiders, Eagles and Huachuca City. The coaches are all volunteers and worked with the kids to coach them through the season. Some of the boys will move up to the next division and some will be returning.
