To the Editor:
I would like to respond to a comment published in your On Your Mind section of the Sierra Vista Herald on Wednesday. The comment thanks a “Jeremy Franklin” for jumping into a lake and saving a little girl’s life.
Jeremy Franklin is my son. I am Michael Franklin. The article is very kind and expresses thanks for what my son did on Oct. 30 at Parker Lake. The comment also states the folks who sent in that comment are wishing that Jeremy would contact them for additional thanks.
We contacted the Sierra Vista Herald and were told that no record existed on this matter and the article was telephoned into the newspaper. Therefore, there is no contact information available from the newspaper, and my son is not sure where he placed the business card the gentleman on the dock gave my son that day.

Would the parties involved with my son please contact me at the information: By phone at 533-2071 or 459-3504 (a message phone).
Again, I wish that the gentleman on the dock that day at Parker Lake would contact me at one of the phone number above. God bless you and your daughter, and both my wife and myself are grateful my son decided to go fishing on Oct. 30.
