Off Broadway Theatre presents “That’s Entertainment, A tribute to Broadway” and brings New York City to Sierra Vista!
Bring a date and come fall in love with the sounds of some of the most beloved songs of the stage. On your own you will be transported back to a different time. Feel the excitement of live theatre. Be inspired by some of Broadway’s most uplifting musical poetry. Let yourself go to laughter!
The show is a collaboration of several local performers. The show features ballads, up tempo, and entertaining show stopping numbers from Broadway shows which include, “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Grease,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Wicked,” “Music Man,” “Footloose,” “Godspell,” “Miss Saigon,” “Jekyll and Hyde,” “Guy’s n Doll’s” and many more!
“That’s Entertainment” is directed by Chris Sancho, who is a professional performer from New York City. Over the past few years Chris has come to realize that Sierra Vista is a hot bed of amazing talent, some of which make up this incredible cast to include, Carole Hurter, Christina Chang, Susie Brown, Robin Feting, radio personality Emma Mayne, Marc Davenport, Jesse Futrell, Adam Bolton, Ray Brown, Dave Germain, Nick Germain and Chris Sancho.

Encore for ‘Run for Your Wife’
Off Broadway Theatre is excited to announce two encore performances of “Run For Your Wife.” The story of New York cab driver John Smith, with two wives, two lives and a very precise schedule for juggling them both. He has one wife at home in Central Park and another at home in Chelsea, and with occupants of the apartment upstairs at the latter location. Trouble brews when Smith is mugged and ends up in a hospital, where both of his addresses surface, causing both the Central Park and Chelsea police to investigate. Having upset his schedule, Smith becomes hopelessly entangled in his attempts with his lazy neighbor upstairs in Central Park, to explain himself to his wives and two suspicious police officers.
“Run For Your Wife” is directed by Chris Sancho. John Smith is played by Ray Brown. Torey Bennett and Cheryl Reynolds play his wives, Mary and Barbara. John’s unemployed best friend, Stanley, is played by Jeremy Heisner. Rounding out the cast is Marc Davenport, Jamie Davenport and Ray Miller.
Performance dates are Nov. 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each. Call the theatre at 459-4332 to reserve tickets.
