Fiddle contest got great support

The Cochise County Youth Orchestra would like to thank everyone involved in helping make the 4th Annual Sierra Vista Fiddle Contest a huge success. Additional thanks to the Sierra Vista Herald and all the local newspapers and radio stations who helped provide publicity, to Buena High School Bands Association for food concessions. Thanks to master of ceremonies Jim Koweek, and to Rocky Harper for his starring role in the Break Your Fiddle Competition.

Thanks to David Kaemmer for his dedication to promoting music for young people, Emily Kaemmer, Diane Jones, and the many friends, CCYO board, and orchestra members and parents who volunteered at the contest.

Finally, a big thank you to all who came to watch, buy raffle tickets and T-shirts, and support the Cochise County Youth Orchestra. And, of course, we can’t forget to thank the many fiddlers who showed up to compete in the contest.
