Bisbee cross country competes at invitational

SAN MANUEL — The Bisbee boys and girls cross country teams competed Wednesday at the San Manuel Invitational.

The girls varsity team came in fourth overall, with Carolina Vazquez leading the Pumas in sixth place with a time of 21:20. Jenna Grimes came in next with a 21:28 time, and Bryanda Yates was 11th with a time of 22:04

The boys varsity team placed 10th at the meet with a 21st-place finish by Beto Hoyos with a time of 18:01.

Daniel Gonzalez came in 13th place with a time of 20:32 for the junior varsity team.



The Pumas compete next at the Bob Dunlap Invitational in Bisbee on Oct. 1.
