Lavina Jean Lowell, 73, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., entered into eternal life on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008. Jean passed peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness.

She was born on July 21, 1935, in Rock Springs, Wyo. Jean enjoyed a long career working for the Sierra Vista public schools district, where she brought much happiness to all around her before retiring. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Jean is survived by her children, Russell, Terry, John, and Robert; her brothers, William and Robert Hoff; and her grandchildren, Vincent, Alexis, Cody, Ryan, Ruth, Shelby and James. Her spirit will always live on in the minds and hearts of her family and her many friends.


Per Jean’s wishes, no services will be held, and the family will scatter her ashes over a beloved mountaintop in Wyoming.
