The following are highlights from the calls for service or citizen contracts received or initiated by the Sierra Vista Police Department.
Monday
• 8:16 a.m. — Two vehicles were involved in a collision near the east gate. A white Mercury ran into the rear of a green Mustang stopped at the light. There were no injuries.
• 9:19 a.m. — Fraud was reported at Hastings, 2758 E. Fry Blvd. A man found a Hastings rental card from his lost wallet had been used to rent several games that were not returned.

• 9:45 a.m. — A vehicle was burglarized sometime in the past week in the parking lot of Mountain Steppes Apartments. The suspects entered the unlocked vehicle and stole a XM Radio and approximately $35.
• 10:07 a.m. — A weed trimmer was reported stolen from Good Neighbor Alliance at 420 N. Seventh St. on July 25.
• 10:51 a.m. — CVS Pharmacy reported a prescription fraud. Someone called in a prescription that the pharmacy technician felt was forged. The prescription was not filled and officers are continuing the investigation.
• 3:20 p.m. — Sulfur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative at 311 E. Wilcox Drive reported that they had received two counterfeit $20 bills. The counterfeit bills were turned over to officers.
• 4:55 p.m. — Officers responded to a trailer at Mountain Vista Mobile Home Park at 700 S. Carmichael Ave. for a reported domestic violence assault. The victim reports that her sister had kicked her in the chest. Officers contacted the woman, 24, a struggle ensued and she kicked an officer in the chest during the struggle. She was later transported to Sierra Vista Regional Health Center for breathing difficulty and then to the county jail charged with domestic violence assault, criminal damage, aggravated assault on a police officer and for a warrant.
• 6:55 p.m. — Officers responded to Sierra Grande Mobile Home Park to a report of disorderly conduct in which an individual walking through the wash was breaking windows on the victim’s trailer. The victim reports that the individual accused him of trying to steal his girlfriend but did not want to pursue charges against the suspect.
• 11:32 p.m. — A man, 39, was cited and released for driving on a suspended license after the Border Patrol requested assistance after contacting him in a vehicle he was driving.
Tuesday
• 4:27 a.m. — Officers responded to the Sierra Tacoma apartments at 415 E. Tacoma St. on a domestic violence report. The victim reports that she had been struck by a relative. Officers made contact with a woman, 21, who was arrested on a warrant out of Douglas for trespassing. The domestic violence report is still under investigation.
• 9:03 a.m. — A burglary was reported in the 100 block of First Street. A shed behind American Sew and Vac was broken into sometime during the last week, and a Mini-bike, helmet and various other items were stolen.
• 11:16 a.m. — A Toshiba personal computer was stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Sierra Drive sometime during the last three weeks.
• 11:29 a.m. — A gas card of a victim from Sierra Vista was used by an unknown suspect in California for more than $4,000.
• 12:17 p.m. — A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of the Westwood village apartments.
• 4:18 p.m. — A 95 Chevy Lumina, Arizona license plate 438GSG, was borrowed by a subject from the Stanley Apartments on July 26 and has not been returned.
• 5:59 p.m. — A man, 19, was cited and released for theft of a bicycle after police contacted him and found that he had a stolen bicycle.
• 6:01 p.m. — A man, 40, was cited and released for driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Highway 92.
• 6:11 p.m. — Police were called to a residence in the 2800 block of Raven Drive when a child was found to be intoxicated. Police contacted a 14 year old who was referred for minor consuming alcohol, and a man, 18, was cited and released for contributing to the delinquency.
• 6:23 p.m. — An employee of Denny’s reports that he was assaulted by an unknown individual. The person was described as a white man wearing blue pants and white shirt and that another person was videotaping the incident. Both were gone on police arrival and the investigation continues.
• 6:29 p.m. — A customer of Sears came out find that the passenger side of her vehicle had been damaged. Apparently someone used a key to cause damage to the paint of her vehicle. The person was gone on police arrival.
• 6:40 p.m. — A woman, 49, was arrested on a warrant out of Bisbee for failure to appear after police contact in the area of Tacoma Street and Carmichael Avenue.
• 9:11 p.m. — A motorcycle lost control of his vehicle on Highway 90 Bypass near Industry Drive. A passenger on the motorcycle was taken to University Medical Center in Tucson and the driver of the motorcycle was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Health Center for treatment. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident and the condition of the driver and passenger are not currently known.
• 11:03 p.m. — A vehicle was traveling on Buffalo Soldier Trail and someone threw an egg at and struck the vehicle. The driver did not see who threw the egg.
Wednesday
• 8:36 a.m. — Graffiti was reported at Shiloh Christian Ministries at 200 North Ave.
• 1:15 p.m. — A person from Westwood Village Apartments reports that she wired $13K to a person for a vehicle in Las Vegas and has not received the vehicle or been able to contact the subject. The transactions were conducted over the Internet and appear to be some type of Internet scam.
• 1:42 p.m. — A non-injury, rear-end wreck was reported at Highway 92 and Avenida Cochise both vehicles were driven from the scene.
• 2:01 p.m. — A criminal damage was reported at Kmart. A man came out of Kmart and found that a window on his vehicle had been struck with an apparent BB and appears that attempts were made to gain entry to the vehicle.
• 2:22 p.m. — A bicycle was stolen from the Sierra Vista Youth Center in Veterans’ Memorial Park. The victim went in the youth center, and when he came out, he discovered that his bicycle was missing.
• 4:11 p.m. — A man, 31, was cited and released for driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop in the area of Highway 92 and Busby Drive. The vehicle he was driving has been impounded for 30 days.
• 5:16 p.m. — A resident in the 3500 block of Greenwood Drive reports that a company out of Georgia or New York has been taking money from her account for the past 10 months without authorization.
• 5:24 p.m. — A man, 26, and a woman, 28, got into a shoving match with each other at a residence in the 1200 block of Jasmine Drive. This resulted in two broken doors. Both subjects were arrested and booked into county jail for domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal damage.
• 7:12 p.m. — A hit-and-run incident was reported at Buffalo Solider Trail and Highway 92. A dark colored Chevy Silverado with a unknown Arizona plate, struck the rear of a vehicle pushing it into the back of another vehicle. The Silverado then left the scene. It should have damage to the front bumper and has a decal “SID” on the back window.
• 7:16 p.m. — A gasoline theft was reported at the Gas City in the amount of $65.43. The suspect tried to use a debit card that was denied. He then left the scene.
• 8:36 p.m. — A woman, 23, was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia after police contact in the 160 Block of Fry Boulevard.
• 9:21 p.m. — A theft was reported at Chili’s at 4001 E. Highway 90. A brown fanny pack containing a Black Taurus 9 mm handgun was accidentally left in a both after dining at Chili’s, when the person returned the fanny pack and gun were missing.
• 10:44 p.m. — A report of domestic violence threatening and intimidating was reported in the 2800 block of Sierra Bermeja. The wife reports that her husband made threats against her and the husband denied. No arrests were made.
Thursday
• 12:48 a.m. — Officers responded to the Vista de la Sierra Apartments for a noise complaint. Officers contacted several people who were under the age of 21 and had been consuming alcohol and possibly marijuana. A man, 18, was cited and released for minor consuming alcohol. Another man, 19, was booked into county jail for minor consuming alcohol and possession of marijuana. A third man, 19, was booked into county jail for minor consuming alcohol and a failure to appear warrant.
• 7:57 a.m. — A woman, 18, was cited and released for driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop at Fry Boulevard and Moorman Avenue. The vehicle has been impounded for 30 days.
• 7:59 a.m. — Three cartons of cigarettes were stolen from Gas City on Fry Boulevard. The suspect took the cartons while an employee was distracted.
• 8:31 a.m. — A home in the 4400 block of Chaparral Loop was broken into and jewelry and video games were stolen.
• 8:52 a.m. — Southwest Systems Engineering at 51 E. Wilcox Drive was the victim of taggers. “BOSS CLIKK” was spray painted across the side of the building.
• 1:07 p.m. — Fowdys Auto Repair at 570 E. Bartow Drive reported that a Compaq Laptop computer was stolen from the business over the past week.
• 3:14 p.m. — A boy 17, struck his sister in the face in the 700 block of Camelot Drive and left the area. The boy later turned himself and was referred to Juvenile Probation for domestic violence assault.
• 3:39 p.m. — A black 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup with an Arizona license plate of 803YDG was reported stolen from the parking lot of the Crystal Creek apartments at 4500 E. Campus Drive sometime after 4 p.m. on July 30. This is the same alleged vehicle involved in a hit and run on the previous day around 7 p.m. at Buffalo Solider Trail and Highway 92. The vehicle was later located in the parking lot of the Plaza Apartments, 2310 E. Wilcox Drive. The plate had been removed from the vehicle.
• 4:15 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck occurred near the East Gate. One vehicle rear-ended a vehicle stopped for a red light. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the wreck.
• 4:42 p.m. — A driver lost control of her vehicle on Buffalo Solider Trail near Seventh Street and skidded across traffic and off the roadway. The vehicle damaged several campaign signs on the south side of the roadway. The vehicle incurred minimal damage and was driven from the scene.
• 8:40 p.m. — A home on Wolfe Street was broken into during the night. The homeowner was on vacation. It was unknown exactly what was taken from the residence.
• 10:59 p.m. — The clerk at Circle K, 720 S. Seventh St., reported he was punched in the back of the head by a man who then stole beer and left the area in an older model Chevy Malibu with a California license plate with a partial plate of “52D.” Officers were unable to locate the man or the vehicle and continue to investigate.
• 10:14 p.m. — Two motorcycles were intentionally knocked over in the parking lot of Linda’s Lounge, 211 E. Bartow Drive. The motorcycles had minor damage to the fenders, and officers were unable locate any people involved.
• 11 p.m. — A woman, 26, was cited and released for driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop near milepost 318 of Highway 90. The vehicle has been impounded for 30 days.
Friday
• 12:54 a.m. — The clerk at Circle K, 97 N. Garden Ave., reports that a woman on a bicycle had just taken a bottle of Jagermeister and left the store. The suspect was last seen riding south on Garden Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the woman.
