Kan Ran Colson (Pae) passed away on June 22, 2008, after a long fight with many health issues.

She leaves behind a loving family of three children, Haeng Cha (Nung Hwan) Choe, Ki Chun Chon and Hyang Suk (Anthony) Wadeck; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. Also left behind is Sung Hwan Chon, a West Point Graduate currently serving in the U.S. Army as a major in the Washington, D.C. area.

During her last 15 years she lived with her youngest daughter Hyang Suk Wadeck, her son-in-law Anthony, and three of her grandchildren, Anthony, Vivien, and Barbara. She enjoyed family time, especially with her great-grandson, Anthony. She loved working in the garden and spent many hours growing great things to eat.  She also loved knitting and several family members still wear items made by this loving person.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Retired SFC Donald K. Colson.  They were married in 1972 and enjoyed 19 years of marriage before Donald passed away in 1991.

Kan was a loving mother, grandmother and wife and will be missed by her family and friends.

A viewing will be held at Hatfield Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26 between 4 and 7 p.m.  A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at St. Andrews on Friday, June 27, 2008, at noon followed by interment at the Post Cemetery on Fort Huachuca.
