Sept. 15, 1928 – April 21, 2008

Yoshiko Matsutani Owen, 79, a 38-year resident of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Tucson, Ariz., passed away Monday, April 21, 2008. She was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Nagasaki, Japan to Jojun and Aiko (Machida) Matsutani. She was a kindergarten teacher prior to marrying her former husband, William V. Owen. She came to the United States in 1965 and lived in Florida before moving to Arizona.

She is survived by one sister, Kinuko Nishitera of Kagoshima, Japan; one daughter, Melinda Y. Bohlen; two granddaughters, Athena and Destiny; and many friends, too many to name.


Arrangements have been entrusted to Jensen’s Sierra Vista Mortuary.
