Survivors include her father, Rafael Herrera of Bisbee; two sons, Mark Dominguez of Arizona City, Ariz., and Billy Carr of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Heather Carr of Tucson; a grandson, David Allen Dominguez; two sisters, Barbara Silva (Nacho) of California and Sylvia Herrera of Tucson; four brothers, Rafael Herrera Jr., Jose Herrera, and Oscar Herrera (Issa), all of Bisbee, and Miguel Herrera of Tucson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, daycare children and friends.

A memorial service will be held at St. Patrick Church on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 6 p.m. Deacon Tony Underwood will officiate. Burial will be private.

" For the short two years that I have known Lupe, I have grown to appreciate her for the caring human being that she was in life. No words or actions can describe how sorry I am for her entire family which includes friends and the children she cared for. Including my little boy Nathaniel. She will greatly missed in life but will forever live in our hearts. God has her in His Glory. With love and honor to a wonderful woman. "
