Red, White and Blue Charity golf tournament
The Red, White and Blue charity golf tournament will be Saturday at the Mountain View Golf Course on Fort Huachuca.
Registration is from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30. The format is 4-man scramble.
The $50 entry fee covers greens fees, cart for two, lunch, hospitality bag, raffle ticket and prizes.

Vernon White Memorial Golf Tournament
The Vernon White Memorial Golf Tournament will be played March 31 at the Turquoise Valley Golf Course in Naco.
There will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start and the format is 4-person scramble.
All entries must be received by March 26. No registration accepted the day of the event.

Juniors beginner
clinic at PDSCC
From March 12-16, the Pueblo del Sol Country Club will be hosting a juniors’ beginner clinic for players 5 to 17.
Those 5-to-8 will receive instruction from 10:30 a.m. to 11; 9-11-year-olds will meet 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and the 12-17 year-old group will meet from noon to 12:30 p.m.
PGA apprentice professional Jeff Wegman will be conducting the clinic which will focus on etiquette, rules, safety, history, principles of putting, chipping, irons and woods.
The cost is $40 for one child, $60 for two.

On Feb. 7, the Pueblo del Sol WOmen’s Golf Association held its Ace Day Tournament at the Pueblo del Sol Country Club in Sierra Vista.
The Ace of the Month for February was Donna Stoner with a net score of 69.
Other winners in the first flight were Sheila Dagucon with an 83 and Bev Root with a 75. Second flight winners were Josie Lucas with a gross 92 and Namki Newlen with a low net 72.
In the third flight, low gross was claimed by Barbara Gray with 100. Low net went to Norma Benham with a 74.
Low gross in the fourth flight went to Jody Thomas with her 102. Low net went to Marlyne Miller and her 69. Maline Stafford was gross winner in the fifth flight with her 109 and Elda Montano took low net with a 74.
In the Revert Two Holes to Par tournament on Feb. 21, Sonny Williams won the first flight with a score of 70 followed by Janet Wieterson with a second-place 71.
In the second flight, Lois Alexander with her 63 took first while Miyoko Welles was second scoring 67.
The third flight winner was Jody Thomas with 63 and runner-up in a playoff was Trudy Smith with a 65.
Huachuca Women’s Golf Association results
The Huachuca Women’s Golf Association held a pair of events recently.
On Feb. 15, they hosted the Low Putts tournament at the Mountain View Golf Course on Fort Huachuca.
Sandy Jones was the winner with a score of 34 and Kay Bovee was second with 35.
Myrt Weinschenker had a chip-in on the third hole.
On Feb. 22, the club had a low-net tournament that was won by Pat Bogan with a score of 75.
Kay Bovee followed with a 76 and Ellie Caulfield was third with a 79.
Julia Bryan had a chip-in and Bovee and Sue de Young had a pair of chip-ins from off the green.
