HERALD/REVIEW
BISBEE - A Bisbee resident has turned the upstairs of her business into a Harry Potter theme as a prelude to the selling of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
The Harry Potter book will be the sixth edition and goes on sale at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.
Joanie Werner, owner of Atalanta's Music & Books, will be opening up her upstairs at 6 p.m. today to give Potter fans a glimpse of some items listed in the novels. The party is planned to last through the evening.

Werner has used the upstairs of her business to decorate with items listed in the six novels.
She has decorated the door with makeshift bricks, as in the novel, tapping on the third brick opens the door to the new kingdom. Once inside, magical books are on display, which actually are wrapped Reader's Digest magazines.
She said she will hand some of the books out, telling them they are magical books.
Some of the wrapped books are well-known Potter novels, including the book as big as a parking statue and "The Monster Book of Monsters."
Another location is called Slug and Jiggers Apothecary. Werner said this shop is dedicated to dried fruits and other types of food such as snake skins and dried pears.
"We are trying to find things that look creepy," she said.
Employee Bryan Goff came up with forming the Potter theme room in honor of the sixth edition that will be going on sale Saturday.
Artist Hywel Logan did all of the paintings that will be on display in the room that Werner is dedicating to the Potter book sale. She said Logan did all of the signs, boxes and the doors.
Katie Huthhoefer, another Atalanta's employee, is doing the cooking.
"Two men and a woman, just like it is in the books," she said in reference to the people who helped her put the Potter room together and in reference to the threesome of Harry, Ron and Hermione, the main characters in the series of books.
"At first we thought we would not have the time (to do this), but it took on a life of its own," she said.
Werner said the room, which cost $750 to construct, took a little more than a month to complete.
"People are obsessed about this book," she said, adding she will start selling editions at the stroke of midnight. Atalanta's will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Those buying the book at Atalanta's will receive a free Harry Potter coloring book and will get to enter a raffle to win a handmade wand. She said if she sells all her editions that she has ordered, those making orders will receive the coloring books and be included in the raffle.
Sierra Vista book stores also are going to have events to honor the sixth edition of the book going on sale.
Hasting's Books, Music & Video Manager Maike Terrell said the store will have a midnight party, too. She said there will be a costume contest, popcorn and games, and the winner will receive a free copy of the book.
"It's a pretty big event," she said.
B Dalton will begin selling the books at 6 a.m. Saturday. The store will celebrate the first day of selling the book with free coffee and games.
Anyone purchasing the novel at B Dalton's will receive a 10 percent discount at the Pretzel Maker in the Mall at Sierra Vista.
